ONE RIDE REGISTER & WIN GIVEAWAY

These terms and conditions (Terms) of entry, including information on how to participate and prize details, apply to the promotion and entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms.

The promoter is Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF Australia) (ACN 002 286 553, ABN 40 002 286 553, DGR 042 753).

1. Eligibility

Entry is open to residents of Australia excluding:

  1. management, employees, directors and contractors of the promoter, its related bodies, firms or companies associated with the promotion;
  2. a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph (a). This includes natural and non-natural relations (in the opinion of the Promoter).
The promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an eligible entrant in its absolute discretion.

2. Promotion period
The promotion is a game of chance.
The promotion begins at 8:00am AEST on 1 September 2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 21 November 2025.

3. How to enter
  • To enter, participants must register for Breakthrough T1D’s One Ride 2025 by 31 October 2025.
  • Only fully completed registrations that meet the fundraising target of the selected package by 21 November 2025 are valid.
  • One entry per person. Multiple registrations do not equal multiple entries.
  • Every eligible registration during the promotion period will receive one entry into the draw.

4. Prize
The total prize pool is valued at AUD $3,799.99 (RRP). One winner will receive:

Polygon Strattos S7X – 105 Di2 Carbon Road Bike (Blue model).

Prize conditions:
  • The bike will not be present at the event.
  • BikesOnline will ship the prize to the draw winner at the conclusion of the event.
  • The prize is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty only. The promoter is not responsible for servicing, maintenance, or ongoing costs.
  • The prize is not transferable and not redeemable for cash.

5. Draw and notification

  • The prize winner will be chosen by manual barrel draw conducted by the Promoter at Novotel Barossa Valley, 42 Pioneer Ave, Rowland Flat SA 5352, at the One Ride poolside party on 29 November 2025 at 3:00pm AEDT.
  • The winner will be announced at the event, notified by email, and published on the Breakthrough T1D One Ride private Facebook group.
  • The decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Other conditions

  • The promoter reserves the right to select an alternate winner if it determines in its sole discretion that a winner does not adequately satisfy these Terms.
  • The promoter and their promotional partners are not responsible for any loss or damage in relation to the prize once it has been awarded.
  • If for any reason the promotion is incapable of being run as planned, including due to technical issues, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to take any action available to it, including cancelling, terminating, modifying or suspending the promotion.
  • Any eligible entrant who, in the opinion of the promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism in any way, engages in any unlawful or improper conduct which jeopardises or is likely to jeopardise the fair or proper conduct of the promotion, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to receive a prize.
  • By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activities, including photography, media interviews, and social media content, without additional compensation.
  • The promoter will use the personal information contained in your entry to conduct the promotion and award the prize, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

7. Governing law

The promotion is governed by the laws of South Australia.
