I’m taking on the Breakthrough T1D One Ride! 🚴♂️ fundraising for a great cause!
On 21 November 2026, I’ll be jumping on the bike and cycling through the picturesque Barossa Valley to raise vital funds for type 1 diabetes research.
Now, cardio and I don’t exactly get along… 😂 So I can confidently say this will push me well and truly outside my comfort zone! But it’s all for a powerful cause, and I’m excited to take on the challenge.
Type 1 diabetes can affect anyone, at any time. Every day, 8 Australians are diagnosed. It’s a relentless 24/7 condition, requiring up to 180 extra decisions every single day just to stay safe and healthy.
Breakthrough T1D is the largest funder of type 1 diabetes research in the world, driving life-changing breakthroughs for the 140,000+ Australians living with T1D.
