Riding for a cure

I’m taking on the Breakthrough T1D One Ride to raise funds for research aimed at finding a cure for Type I Diabetes.

I’ll be riding as Ultimate Domestique for Michael Curtin and the Curtin Boys Chain Gang, inspired by his young boys, Aaron and Oliver, and their hope that one day Type 1 Diabetes will have a cure.

My role as Ultimate Domestique is to block the wind for Mike, keep the supplies coming, and remind him, although not always truthfully, that the big Diesel is looking strong and fast.

It’s 160 km in the Barossa, for two great young boys and a cause well worth riding for.
